Some cities impress you through architecture. Others change you because, for a few hours or a few years, they offer a wider version of your own life.
For queer people, freedom is not only a political idea. It is a daily choreography: how you walk, whom you touch, how loudly you laugh and whether you allow yourself to be seen. A good community turns that choreography from calculation into instinct.
We carry the cities that gave us courage. Then we try to bring that courage home — into conversations, work and the way we make room for others.
